A fourth money coaching pilot course finished up 14Mar with Christ Church North Dublin based in the Baldoyle Community Centre D13. The pilot was run over 4 sessions on Thursday evenings with 7 participants of which 4 were Coaches that took turns in leading a session each.
“We did induction training last December with Helen and Alan so we were well prepared, with our 4 Coaches getting some great practice each evening on the pilot. For a small church plant and “fresh expression” within our local community centre, we can now share the coaching load as we intend to run a few courses a year”
Rev. David Martin
“Our Coaches were able to work from a single slide presentation which was based on the very good CAP resources, this meant that there was good continuity between Coaches and content covered over the 4 sessions”
Added Hylton Banks one of the Coaches and who developed the deck of slides
All 7 of their participants completed the end-line survey and reported a 29% gain in financial skills, which is the average gain across all participants over the four money coaching pilots completed so far.
Two more money coaching pilots are scheduled with Dublin-area church partners over the coming months, with church-based partners in Cork still praying over best dates for their pilots to commence.
