This month sees the first anniversary of CAP’s ministry in Ireland since launching publicly in September 2023. The Board and Staff of CAP are very grateful for the consistent support and donors over the year, as well as new church partners and church-based volunteers going through induction training as Money Coaches.
“As a Christian charity there’s been such goodwill from so many people, enabling us to establish our work in partnership across the country” says Alan/CEO. “We have clearly experienced God’s favour and blessing in establishing robust church partnerships and through these helping people directly with their money management and ultimately their stewardship of what God provides”, he added.
Over the last year CAP has delivered eight money coaching induction trainings, with also eight money coaching courses delivered through church partners, to participants.
In all, over 80 church-based volunteers have been trained and over 50 participants benefited from money coaching. It does take time for participants to assess and review their personal finances, applying better money management skills etc.
Nevertheless, one couple living in Dublin recent commented: “…we’ve increased our savings 20-25%, no longer dread checking our [bank] balance(s), and are able to budget ahead for large expenses, like our upcoming trip [overseas to visit family]…”.

CAP is a stand-alone registered charity and relies on individual and church donations to deliver its “train-the-trainer” empowering model across Ireland.
If you or your church are considering making a donation and so would like a more comprehensive report of the charity’s activities over the last year, then please email alan@capireland.ie
Our 2023 15-month audited accounts may be downloaded too.
“Money is a mirror reflecting our attitudes towards God…”, a quote from Tim Mackey with The Bible Project who have been running a teaching series this year based on the Beatitudes (aka Jesus’ manifesto).
The Board and Staff of CAP are already looking forward to the next year(s) ahead and are currently developing the charity’s first three-year strategic plan (2025-27). We pray for God’s continued favour and blessing for the years to come, growing partnerships with churches and impacting peoples lives, both within local churches and communities nationwide (DV).
